The Hogar Virgen Del Socorro is a residential hospital where more than 200 patients ranging in age from 3 to 90 years, from a very low economic stratum live and receive essential services for any human being, especially those with a neurological pathology; Where a wide variety of neurological pathologies are treated such as dementia, parkinson´s disease, cerebral palsy, Childhood cerebral palsy, strokes, multiple sclerosis, and many other syndromes.

i´m not a religious person, but i could almost describe the place as a miracle for those patients, where their life expectancy is longer than expected due to their condition, thanks to the good care and environment in which they live.

The field of physiotherapy within this hospital is enormous, with very high expectation for improving the quality of life of these kids and adults, but achieve those expectations is complicated by the high density of patients and the low number of physiotherapists; Therefore, therapies mostly focus on body maintenance, preventing deformities, and in children, the developmental milestones.
