  • Create and develop the strategy for the new Tigo Home Business Unit in Guatemala from scratch and comply with the objectives, in terms of revenues, penetration of services, investment and profitability set by the Board accordingly to the Business project.
  • In addition, I was responsible for poising risk management and the new business opportunities with strategic objectives to optimize overall business performance outcomes in the long term; this also included implement innovative marketing initiatives for increased brand visibility and customer engagement.
  • Communicated regularly with executive leadership regarding progress updates, challenges, and achievement highlights within the unit.
  • Monitored performance metrics regularly to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous progress.
  • Mentored junior staff members, supporting their professional growth within the organization this also includes developing talent and the skills across organization to incorporate this new business unit in Tigo Guatemala.

- Develop the Business Unit from the Scratch reaching 200M USD in Revenues and $100M USD in Ebitda.

- Acquired +50 CATV companies and Merge all of them in one.

- Build 1,700,000 of Home Passes in Guatemala

- #1 in Market Share in CATV and Broadband Business

- Create and leadership the first Association Anti-piracy in Guatemala reducing 90% the piracy in the CATV in Guatemala

- Launching of the New Brand “Tigo Star" in Guatemala

- Incorporate Tigo Home Business Unit to Tigo ecosystem

- Develop the talent and culture across Business Unit (+1000 People)
